Even though it was only a two-week vacation, it seemed like a lot longer than that. In fact it was perhaps some kind of reverse-speed-of-light thing wherein time moves slower as you approach the speed of dark, or something. Anyway, I could have sworn that during the vacation I watched as the gears of evolution turned and strange new hominid octopi emerged from Long Beach, inhabiting and eventually rebuilding the smoldering ruins of once-great Los Angeles, breeding in the control tower of LAX a sort of overmind that telepathically guided the new masters of the planet to conquest. Continents drifted, stars that long since passed from the view of our world reemerged after countless eons, and finally the sun collapsed into a cold, flickering dwarf, ending all life in the solar system. Or so it seemed.
Does the title "Adventures in Randomness with Zelda and Co." mean anything to you? Might you have a fanfiction.net account? If you said yes to either of these questions, you may just be the same random author that I know and I love.
Man, I used to read AIRWZAC back in the stoneages when it was hot off the presses new and chapters like "I've never" were still coming out! I even read it aloud to my sister and made a fan outta her too. Those were the good old days, back when fanfiction.net was pretty much my whole life. Now it's the shiny new 2006 and I still go back and read it periodically, just to get a periodic dose of Rauru. It kept the High school insanity from getting to me, and now it'll be helping keep the college insanity from getting to me. Odd that a fic as insane as yours actually helps KEEP me from going nuts eh?
If fanfiction.net ever deletes your stuff again, I don't know what I'd do! Maybe you should consider posting AIRWZAC here on dA? They have a fanfiction section, and there aren't any rules against script fics like on fanfiction.net. It would be a safe, worry free environment, and I know that the community here would love the story (minus the usual one or two assholes that every site has). I'd even be willing to plug it in my journal and get my other dA friends to check it out as a starter. Since alot of my friends share a good random sense of humor, I'm sure they'd adore AIRWZAC.
